Election for Vilas Neighborhood Association Council

On Monday, November 7th we will begin paper absentee ballot voting for the VNA Council election, which will

be concluded on Wed. Nov. 16th . We hope that you’ll participate in the process. Dues are no longer required.

Ballots, instructions for voting, and candidate bios will be distributed via email, on Sunday November 6th.

We need up-to-date contact info from you to make that happen.

Please submit the following information, in this order, to maryclarem@charter.net (Election Chair)

Your street address

First and last names of residents age 18 or over, who are currently living at your address and may want to vote

Current emails for the residents that intend to vote

A telephone number of one of the residents (not required, just helpful)

If you have questions, need a paper ballot mailed or hand delivered to your home address, or If you do not

receive a ballot on Sun. Nov 6th call Mary Clare at (608) 235-4281 or email maryclarem@charter.net

Deposit your ballot in one of the lock boxes located on the front porches of Roz Woodward, 1443 Mound St, or

MC Murphy, 1910 Jefferson St.

Ballots will be collected from lock boxes daily until 4:30 pm Wednesday Nov. 16th. They will then be counted

by the Election Committee and results will be announced at the VNA Annual Meeting, 7:00-9:00 that evening,

and will be posted on the vilasneighborhood.com website within the next two days.
